Your Adventure Starts Here.
Training for the Naval Sea Cadets and the Navy League Cadets is focused on developing young leaders, enhancing their world view, and learning a wide range of skills that will last them the rest of their lives.
Cadets are trained in boating safety by members of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and in water safety and survival by active duty U.S. Navy and Coast Guard personnel. These skills, plus navigation, knot tying, and seamanship, are put into practice during sailing days which take place typically once every three months at Hickam Harbor and Marina.

What will YOU do this weekend?
Drill and Ceremony
Marching & Color Guard skills are taught to the cadets by active duty Navy and Marine Corps volunteers on the grounds of the Battleship Missouri Memorial and then put to use during local parades, air shows, commemorations, and memorial events throughout Hawai'i.
Firefighting and
Damage Control
You can't call the fire department on a ship at sea...You ARE the fire department. Basics of fire prevention and fire safety are taught to cadets by trained U.S. Navy and federal firefighters. Cadets will have the opportunity to attend advanced Navy-sponsored training in shipboard firefighting and aviation firefighting.
Physical Training and Martial Arts
Battleship Missouri Division is lucky to have an experienced Eskrima (Filipino martial art) instructor on staff who provides expert training to the cadets. Designed to be purely defensive with a minimum of gear, cadets learn self-confidence and self-defense.
Of course, it wouldn't be the Naval Sea Cadets without running, push-ups, and sit-ups!
